I wish to bring awareness to the dysfunction between the everyday people and law enforcement. Starting at the very bottom of the food chain with our patrolling officers. Once explained along with the data I believe we, the citizens, along with the officers can begin to confide on a united front. Bringing America forward in its time of need. I have many solutions but I cannot make the change I wish to see by myself. I do however have a vision and a mission that all of us can take part in.
Many of us are unaware of our broken system. If you are aware then you may not know what to do about it. I do. This is where I bring forth my non-profit idea. IAmMyWitness. The united states of America to me means leadership and knowing when to stand up for yourself. Unfortunately our officers are being used. They are being manipulated by a select few to meet quotas, run their rounds, Disrupt the lives of the citizens. For what? Greed of the system. See, to the ones collecting all the compensation it is working perfectly. By December 2023 the TN YTD Traffic Violations Bureau collected a total fine amount of $1,741,956.52. That is just for 2023. So why do we have so many people struggling just to get by??
Although most policeman wouldn’t want to agree, they are not being given the right to use their talents and courage for good. They are being forced into following orders. Orders which include the simplest thing such as your every day ticket. Instead of carrying out their duty to protect and serve they are being used to harrass the citizens of their town. Inconvenience, and take money from the people they should be reaching out a helping hand to. Our officers have no idea the consequences of their actions which they are made to believe are “righteous”. All in all they have alot more in common with the citizens then they believe. If the people cannot stand up to the law and ask for what is just and fair then the officers will never know that they are in fact hurting instead of helping. We can unite and stand together in unity. Standing up for ourselves and saying no to the select few who are essentially robbing the citizens “legally” we can reform our government. It is so corrupt that we must start making compromises at the lowest level. Together, the citizens and the officers can stand together. We can say No to what our gut tells us is immoral or unethical. We can weed out the frauds. It has to start with us. I can’t repeat the words enough. STANDING UP and STANDING TOGETHER. Lets get back to our founding fathers principals and guides. In God we Trust.
